This area is known for its legendary Hacklberg Trail. However, most of this route is in a rather less known area of Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Starting from the eva, Hotels you go first to Hinterglemm. Near the town center we head west to the summit valley station at a sporting store. Cross it and continue along the forest road towards Hacklberger Alm. After 700m, turn into the second road on the left hand to Huber Alm. Now it truns into a very long serpentine upwards. You get always rewarded with great views, but the long straights are a mental challenge. The aim of this uphills are the picturesque alpine meadows on the Huber Hochalm. From there, head left direction and Kegerlalm Polzalm - from a distance is already the Hacklberger Alm visible.
This quaint cottage with regional delicacies on the menu is worth a catch. Doorstep Alm branches of the newer portion of the Hacklberg trails into the hillside. Northshore elements, trackside dwellers and smaller jumps put a big smile on your face. Of course you can also optionally choose the forest road for departure.
