8th eva, MINI gathering

eva,VILLAGE initiated the 8th MINI gathering in Saalbach - and it was a real highlight! Panoramic cruises, great scenerey, delicious alpine foode and a lot of fun were waiting for the guests!

Friday, 6th July 2018

After the drivers' briefing at eva,ALM the night before, the engines were started on Friday monring at 9:00 am to start the drive to the legendary Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain.

All colours and models of MINIs from white to green, from Cooper to Works were cruising the winding mountain roads through some fog up to the Großglockner. No matter the weather conditions, the drivers had so much fun and we took a first break at the Pasterze, the longest glacier in the Eastern Alps. Minute by minute the weather got better and we could really dive into the majesty of the Glockner.

On our way back, we stopped for lunch at Tristachersee where we could do a litle boat trip, go swiiming or just take a walk in the woods - so relaxing!  Afterwards we were driving back through the beautiful Pinzgau to Saalbach.

Saturday, 7th July 2018

On the second day, we started our cruise in the direction Kitzbühel. We stopped for our annual drivers' challenge - the MINIs and their drivers could show their skills in slalom driving and we had a lot of fun. The trip continued to Gasthof Hagstein for an alpine lunch with a great view - with an typical apricot strudle as desert - yum!

Afterwards, another challenge was planned - while bouncing on space hoppers, the teams could strengthen their team spirit - we had great fun!

In the evening, back at eva,VILLAGE, the staff had prepared a fantastic alpine barbecue at eva,ALM with culinary delights. We learned yodeling, elected the winners from the challenges and danced with live music until midnight.
